Fabric Care
- Stick to the care directions provided by the manufacturer.
- For small marks, gently spot clean with mild soap and water, following the seams.
- Avoid water-based cleaners — they can leave marks behind.
- Try any cleaner on a hidden spot first to be safe.
- Keep covers on while cleaning, as removing them may cause shrinkage.
Frame and Filling Composition
The frame is made from 70% solid wood and 30% plywood. Underneath, a mix of springs and webbing wrapped in steel provides the base suspension. The legs are made from solid wood, and the cushions are filled with a mix of foam, loose fibre, and dacron.
Measurement Guide

How to Measure for Your Sofa Delivery
Bringing a new sofa into your home should be exciting, not stressful. To make sure delivery goes smoothly, it’s important to measure both your sofa and your space before the big day. Follow this step-by-step guide to ensure your sofa fits comfortably into your home.
1. Understanding Sofa Dimensions
Every sofa comes with three key measurements:
- Width – the distance across the sofa from arm to arm.
- Depth – the distance from the front edge of the seat to the back.
- Height – the measurement from the floor to the highest point of the sofa.
Make sure you know these exact dimensions before planning your space.

2. Mapping Out Your Room
- Before your sofa arrives, it helps to “test” the size in your room:
- Use masking tape or painter’s tape to mark the sofa’s dimensions directly on your floor.
- Extend the tape up the wall to get a sense of its height.
- If your sofa has an extendable feature (like a sofa bed or chaise), map out the full extended size as well.
Check that your sofa placement won’t block important features such as doors, windows, outlets, vents, or light switches.
3. Measuring Access Points
Your sofa doesn’t just need to fit in the room—it also needs to make it through the journey from the street to its final spot. To avoid surprises:
- Identify the best delivery path, from your front entry all the way to the chosen room.
- Measure all doorways, hallways, staircases, and lifts along this route.
- Compare these access point measurements against your sofa’s dimensions.
4. Doorways
Doorways are often the tightest squeeze, so check carefully:
- Measure the width, height, and diagonal opening of each doorway.
- Compare these numbers to your sofa’s width, depth, and height.
- Check how far the door can swing open—sometimes removing it from its hinges can give you valuable extra space.
- Measure the wall clearance directly opposite each doorway to ensure you can pivot the sofa if needed.

5. Hallways
Hallways can be narrow or have sharp turns:
- Measure the hallway’s width, height, and length.
- Check for obstructions like fixed items, shelves, or light fixtures.
- Measure any corners or turns—especially the space between a hallway wall and doorway opening.
6. Stairways
Staircases are often the trickiest part of delivery. Make sure to:
- Measure the width of the staircase and the height of the ceiling above it.
- Check the length and depth of landings, especially if a turn is required.
- Take note of bannisters, handrails, or low overhangs.
7. Elevators
If delivery involves an elevator:
- Measure the elevator’s interior width, depth, and height.
- Measure the door opening (both width and height).
- Confirm whether the elevator doors open inward or slide.
- Ensure the sofa can be rotated inside the lift if needed.
Important Note
Before placing your order, please take the time to measure all entryways, hallways, staircases, and the room where your furniture will be placed. Double-checking your measurements is the best way to ensure a smooth delivery.
We may not be able to accept returns or provide refunds if an item cannot be delivered or brought into your home due to access limitations.
For everyone’s safety, please make sure pathways to your property are clear and safe for our delivery team. It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm that the furniture can pass through all access points and fit comfortably in the chosen space.
If delivery cannot be completed because of access issues, additional delivery charges may apply.
